Ang hilig nating maghabol
at ipagsiksikan ang ating mga sarili
sa mga naggigitgitang bus sa kahabaan ng EDSA.
Parang mga tangang naghihintay
sa hindi umuusad na trapik.
Umaasa na sana’y
may magparaya ng upuan
dahil ang sakit-sakit na,
manhid na manhid na,
wala ng maramdaman
at malapit na malapit ng sumuko
ang ating mga binti.
Paulit-ulit pa ring iniintindi
ang mga kapwa pasaherong
nakasasakit.
Nagtitiis kahit
madalas mapako ang mga pangakong
magbabago na raw ang lagay ng trapik.
Pero hindi bale,
at least ang mga bus sa EDSA
Lunes at Biyernes lang
kung magpahabol, magpahintay at magpaasa.
